Who are you, how did you get here, and what is your purpose?

The way we view our origin has a huge impact on how we live and make decisions. If we see ourselves as nothing more than highly evolved animals, it’s hard to find much reason to truly honor and value human life, our purpose, or our potential. But when we understand ourselves and others as unique creations of God, made in His image and designed for His glory, we gain a deeper appreciation for the significance of the human body He has given us to care for. In this section, you will find articles on written on the intricate design of the human body and how it points to an incredible, intelligent, Designer. By learning how we are made and how our bodies function, we can become more mindful stewards of what He has given us. It also enables us to point others to Him, and shine light on His words written in Scripture:

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” (Colossians 1:16)

Should Christians Keep the Law of Moses?

The “traditional” view of Acts 15 is that the Apostles and elders gathered in Jerusalem to debate whether or not the Gentiles needed to observe the Law of Moses. The conclusion of the council was that the Gentiles did not need to observe circumcision or the Law of Moses. Peter and the others present concluded that the “yoke” of the Law of Moses was not to be placed on the Gentiles.

Some have challenged this interpretation, suggesting that the debate wasn’t over whether Gentiles should observe the Law, that was already agreed upon, but whether the Law should be kept as a means of salvation by works. In this article, we will dive deper into this topic.
